Shining Force - Retranslated Scenes

List of scenes I've translated from the original version of the game, because the english version is Very Bad.

Since the number of textboxes is different in each version (which is normal, as things start fitting differently when you translate anything), I try lining up the comparisons with the localization based on the meaning, not on the exact textbox number each text is in. This can be hard for this game because sometimes the english version is just Making Things Up. You'll also see a lot of empty space in the localization text column because of how shorter the text is.

List of Scenes:

• Intro (Prologue and Simone's book)
• The Beginning (Training with Varios)
• Some Guardiana NPCs
• Meeting the Initial Team Members
• The Assault of Guardiana Castle
• The King of Alterone, Cain, and Khris
• Meeting Otrant
• Meeting and Fighting Elliot
• Battle with Balbazak
• Meeting Lyle
• Fighting Cain in Dragonia aka the reveal.
• Entering Prompt Castle and some NPCs
• Cain in Prompt
• The Tower of the Ancients
• Meeting Adam and Chaos, aka the poster child of just how bad the localization is.
• All conversations with the Spring of Recollection (Pool of the Ancients in the english version). The final conversation is as just as bad as Adam's if not more. New poster child acquired I guess.
• Darksol at the entrance to Runefaust Castle
• Ending
• Epilogue with Simone
• Max and Adam's scene after the credits
