Notes:
- It feels kinda implied that Simone's grandfather is the old man from the menu of Shining in the Darkness. The story of the Shining Force is an old legend to her, and SitD does take place in the far future compared to this game. And the old man there doesn't read you a story, but instead tells you it is happening at that moment, connecting you to the hero. So this might be the reason he went out here.
On the other hand, this could also be a hook to future games, as the staff in general seemed to want to continue making more of the series.
