Notes:
- I don't know how much of it I've managed to convey in the translation, but Sheela speaks very humbly in this scene. She's more casual when talking to Bowie in HQ and in the ending, so this feels like a deference to your elders thing. And ends up comically contrasting when she calls him out.
- It is possible that "Pai clan" is a joke on "oppai" (breasts), or at least I've seen Japanese players take it that way. It's not a name mentioned anywhere else as far as I'm aware.
- I find it a bit curious that they make a big deal of the priest/monk distinction here, when the word used for the priest class (僧侶) can be translated as monk, and was occasionally used to refer to Gong in guide books for the first game.
- TCRF has documentation of an early translation prototype where some elements of the original scene still remain, but even there the actual mention of harassment had already been censored.
