Shining Soul II Unused Content
Note: for now, my hacking of this game has been only going through sprite, palette and text data. I don't have any deep knowledge of the code, and thus don't know yet if there's some way to trigger the stuff listed here in game. Also, while I have beaten the game multiple times, it does have a lot of obscure events ans rare item drops and the like, so it's possible that stuff I put here is actually just rare and not unused. tldr this is an ongoing investigation, take it with a grain of salt.
Unused character palettes
While working on the Sprite Data page, I realized that, while the character select screen uses the characters' base palette, there is palette data along its sprites anyway. And to my fun, turns out they're a completely different set of palettes! They fit the characters perfectly and are similar to the final ones, so I have no reason to assume they are meant for something else, they were probably just changed during development and not updated in these unused addresses.
Enough talking, I'll let you see them.
