Act 4: The Holy War Between Light and Darkness
A reunion with a friend twists into a cruel battle. After the great final clash, what did the boy see...?

Finally the boy and his friends have returned to the nostalgic Grans Island. The once lush land is now a dark island where devils run rampant. In order to reseal the devils, and return peace to the world, the Shining Force heads to where the final battle shall take place, the Ancient Tower.
Until they reach the tower, countless devils attempt to stop them. Defeating the enemy's generals, they arrive at last. The encounter with the final enemy commander, isn't it a cruel joke of fate?
But losing there would make this whole journey in vain. The Shining Force has overcome numerous hardships, the hopes of everyone they've met at stake in these battles.
The boy fights, getting over his sadness. To destroy the evil within the tower. To finish the task entrusted to them...
He carries the world's fate in his hands, and his sword strikes true.
Now, he becomes a hero...!
Event no.26
The Ascetic Monks' Cabin
-A small cabin along the mountain range
Due to Geshp's interference, the force could not arrive at Arc Valley when returning to Grans. Instead, they come upon a cabin close to the mountains.
Come no matter what to save and heal!
A bit to the west of where the ship landed, right next to the mountain range is a lone building, the ascetic monks' cabin. Ignoring it leads straight to battle. The Master Monk who owns the cabin can heal the party and save. This place serves as a strategical base in Grans Island.
Battle no.35
To Roft Village
-Straight west through the thin and long peninsula!
Bowie and his team head west, where Galam castle is, and then the Ancient Tower further south. The first step is reaching the village of Roft west to the ascetic monks' cabin.
Event no.27
Roft Village
-A quiet small village in the ravine
A small village in the ravine. Being close to the devil army's stronghold, the villagers are scared of being invaded by Galam's army. We must return peace to the island, fast!
Restore your forces well and prepare for battle
In a house to the north on elevated terrain, the group finds the person who once had the Sky Orb. The devil army stole the orb and wounded him deeply. To trample on his dreams of flying over the whole world, the devils are unforgivable!
Outside of village to the west, strong enemies await. Save after healing those who need and buying items from the shops. After fighting in the Prism Flower Zone, return and save again.

Prism Flower Zone
-Terrifying plant weapons await
Geshp persists in obstructing the Shining Force's way. This time, he challenges the group with strange flowers that shoot deadly lazers.

To Galam Castle
-The journey continues to the land of memories of how it all started
Geshp appears once more in front of Bowie's team. The next assassin is the fighting monster feared in all of the island, Red Baron.

Small Ancient Shrine 1
-Strong enemies block the way to the small ancient shrine
The final moment for Geshp, tactician of the devil army! Having hindered the Shining Force all this time, what is the evil genius planning now?

Yeel Village's Underground
-Make preparations before heading to the final battle
The once peaceful mountain village has too fallen prey to the Galam army. But the villagers have gathered underground and continue to live that way.
Searching for the villager one house at a time, the entrance to the underground will be found
The village of Yeel is on the way to the small ancient shrine. Since Granseal is no more, might as well try visiting this place. In the village, there are no people to be seen, but while searching for them, a staricase to the underground can be found on some building. The truth is that the people of Yeel have been hiding underground to avoid the advance of the Galam army.
There's someone to talk to in a corner of this basement. His name is Chaz. As son of the sage Hawel, he has been working on his research here after Hawel's death. Listening to him should clarify the whole story behind this crisis.
There are also items to buy here, so it's a good place to prepare before heading to the shrine.
As the group is about to leave, someone appears in front of them. Wearing a deep crimson armor, this man is...!?

Small Ancient Shrine 2
-Take down the enemy squad guarding the shrine!
The Shining Force is right before the ancient shrine. The devil army has lost their tactician, now let the clash between the two armies begin!

Small Ancient Shrine
-What slumbers deep within the shrine!?
After winning countless battles, the forces arrives at the small ancient shrine. In its depths lie a weapon to defeat the devils.
There's a secret in the walls where the jewels were!!
The small shrine where everything started. A weapon necessary to defeat the devils is here. But said weapon is sealed deep within the shrine. The power of the Jewels of Light and Darkness is necesary to undo the seal.
When the wall where the jewels were opens, the most powerful weapon shall be attained.
Event no.30
Devil Statue + Three-dimensional Maze
-A door opens to the ultimate battle
The opened chasm prevents entering the Ancient Tower, the stage for the ultimate battle. We must search for another entrance!
The path to the devil army's stronghold is a complex maze, to lead astray all who enter!
Where the Granseal castle once stood is now a giant chasm. And the Ancient Tower stands within this hole. They must find some other way to enter it. Investigating carefully the tower's surroundings, they find a mysterious statue that wasn't there before. Looking closer at this frightening devil statue, there should be something off. A path to the tower appears when the devil opens its mouth.
Inside the statue is a three-dimensional maze over lava. In the center of the maze lies a giant gate. This gate is the only path to the Ancient Tower. Breathrough this complicated maze, and head to the ultimate battle.

VS Odd Eye
-At last, crossing swords with the strongest rival
A terrific battle unfolds in a floating battlefield! A fateful confrontation with one who held a secret now begins!!
Battle no.41
Climbing the Ancient Tower
-What awaits at the highest floors of the tower!?
The Shining Force has defeated Odd Eye, and goes up the Ancient Tower. The devil army is here as well. Scatter and defeat the enemies, and head for the top floors!
Battle no.42
VS King Galam
-Stop the evil ritual summoning the Demon King
The ritual to Demon King Zeon will begin, using Princess Elis as a sacrifice. Defeat King Galam, and bring peace back to the world!
