To the left is Zynk's official art from the manual. In the center is a digital drawing of Zynk's robotic body without clothes, and several smaller doodles and annotations fill the right space. There's a flower of purple petals and a round blue crystal core in the left side of his chest. Two lines run vertically through his face below and above each eye, and his mouth is another single line between these two. His left shoulder has a couple screws sticking out. An annotation points out 'these probably have to be screwed back in, or he wouldn't be able to raise his arm. It is following by another annotation showing the shoulder on the official sprite, which has a red plate instead. It notes 'looks completely different in game. Maybe they noticed while animating? Or it is just another inconsistency. I don't like how this red plate looks though, so I ignored it. just screw those back it's not hard.' His elbows and wrists are black and compressed rubber. His hands are metal claws stuck to a golden plate. An annotation there says 'claws look way better in the og but i can't draw like that *sob*'. His feet are balls with two claws in front and two smaller one in the back to each side. Annotation to the side shows similar feet in the official sprite, saying 'feet also look different between game and manual art. but this time i like it so i used it as reference. also it's okay if the articulations don't make sense. zynk's movement stat is atrocious so they probably don't move well anyway. (i'm definitely not making excuses for myself)'. One doodle to the side shows his mouth opening, sliding down and detaching a bit from the rest. Annotation says 'open mouth would look kinda goofy (i like that)'. It then shows the official portrait where he hides most of his face with a mask and tatters around the neck. 'maybe he hides it on purpose lmao'. Two more doodles show the flower from the side. The chest is divided in four parts. In the second doodle, the front parts slide open and the flower streches forward, with four smaller flowers coming from inside and surrounding it. Between the doodles is the official sprite of Zynk shooting his laser, which is a round metal coming from his chest surrounded by four other metal appendages. Annotation says 'love the chest laser but couldn't figure out exactly what it looks like in game and the prism flower shape just looks cooler anyway so i did that.' Final doodle shows the chest from the front, four parts sliding open, and the flowers' crystals shining, the big one the brightest of them all, almost all white with a blue halo. Annotation says 'last thing you see before you die'.

Original description:

This started as "let's try to figure out what Zynk looks like under those rags" but at some points I just did what I wanted instead, especially the laser. Prism Flowers are the coolest part of a mostly generic enemy roster and both Zynk and them are ancient stuff so yeah, let's link these dots, I think it looks cool.

There's enough rambling on the picture itself so i don't gotta say anything else. Zynk's official picture on the left is from the jp manual, original sprites ripped with the Caravan.
