Skreech Shiningforce but instead of being smol birb who falls in your head and then shows up later magically grown up out of nowhere, he’s already grown and just has wings too small to fly on his own, so he crashes on you while testing some cool mechanical ones. Basically a big callback to Kokichi and Guntz from the first game. I never liked the magical age up thing, it’s too lol random of a joke for me.

Also ended up changing his color to orange because i got confused with the original art (how much of him is brown and how much is white anyway??), and brown feathers with brown clothes didn’t contrast well for the battle sprites either, also the battle sprites used purple and pink instead so clearly no one cared for consistency in this series lmao. Was not my intention to bridge the palettes with the purple wings, but worked great.

Unfortunately I did get too excited at the jump from “what reason can i make up for a grown Skreech to still have trouble flying” to “yay mechanical wings!”, and realized too late that i fated Bowie with this to get crushed by One Whole Armored Boy and several pounds of steel feathers. sorry bowie my bad
